İstanbul Anarat Hıgutyun Ermeni Katolik Rahibeleri Mektebi ve Kilisesi; Koruma, Restorasyon ve İşletmesi

It was founded in 1868 by Boğos Bey Mısırlıyan. The building, one of Istanbul's oldest girls' schools, was no longer suitable for the needs of the time and, particularly in the period following World War I, was unable to meet demand. Consequently, the current building was constructed in 1922 and has served as a school ever since. The old school building remained a convent. However, the historic building, which was a reminder of Boğos Bey Mısırlıyan but had been worn down by the years and was on the verge of collapse, was condemned to demolition in 1954.

In 1931, a kindergarten section was opened at the school. Starting in the 1960-1961 academic year, a secondary education department was opened and continued successfully until 1983. Starting in 1985, the school continued its activities as a co-educational institution. Starting in 1998, the school transitioned to eight years of compulsory education and graduated its first class in the 2000-2001 academic year.
